In Order to Live for the King, we have to change course daily. It is a daily process of laying down our way in order to pick up God’s way. Turning from Wickedness and turning towards God and His righteousness is a necessary piece of living for the King. That said, the King, Jesus, still cares for us deeply while we are in our sin and wickedness, but He doesn’t want us to stay there – that’s why He beckons us to turn back to him. Looking at Jesus’ instructions in Matthew 7:13-14 as well as 2 Chronicles 7:14, we were encouraged to examine our starting point – are our current tasks easy or are they difficult, are they wide and many people do it, or are they narrow and only a few are doing it? And where will it lead? Is it destroying us or giving us life? The bottom line for the message is: Recalibrate your course. You’ll also find encouragement and “how to” use accountability to help get the job done!
