Fellowship and multiplication were the resounding themes that came up when I asked Krisha VanDusen and Katy Miller about what God was teaching them as they have started our women’s ministry, Refuge Women Undone. “God is definitely teaching us the importance of fellowship with like-minded women. It is always a time of laughter and fun,” Katy quipped as she thought back to the few months the group has been gathering. The women have launched two studies, one being an on-line “chat” and the other in a home. They have also taken a lead role in creating fellowship nights and service ideas.
I’m inspired by the innovation and fun our ladies are having. Krisha added, “With each event, we get to see new faces.” Fun fellowship and contagious growth is a recipe for a great thing. I’m excited for what God is doing through the women of The Refuge Christian Church. Join me in celebrating their efforts, praying for the relationships being made, and asking God to bless it with spiritual growth, decisions of faith, and eternal friendships in Him.
